Lombok Events Calendar for October to December 2026: What Is Confirmed and What Is Not

Planning a trip, or just wondering what’s on? This Lombok events calendar covers October to December 2026, and it sticks to what we could actually confirm. Where we couldn’t pin a date down, we say so. Dates in Lombok do move, as one big festival has just shown, so treat anything marked unconfirmed as a prompt to check, not a plan.

The Lombok events calendar: dates we could confirm

October 17 to 18, Merumatta Half Marathon, Senggigi. This is the third edition, run along the Senggigi coastline toward Bukit Malimbu with a mix of climbs and descents. There’s a 2.5 km kids’ dash plus 5 km, 10 km and 21 km categories, organizers are aiming for about 1,500 runners, and a new cheering competition takes place on October 18. The official race site gives Sunday, October 18 as race day, with the 21K flagging off at 5:30 a.m. Some of the other times on that site still carry last year’s dates, so double-check the timing for shorter distances with the organizer. Race director Sri Agus Budi Santoso said he hopes many out-of-town runners will use the weekend to see Senggigi and spend money locally, and the general manager of Merumatta Senggigi, Fahrurrazi, said this year’s route is different from before, with climbs and descents that are an attraction in themselves.

October 17, Race to Selo Aquathlon, Selong Belanak. The organizer’s own page, on the Selo Footprints site, confirms Saturday, October 17, 2026, in South Lombok: a 500-meter ocean swim at Selong Belanak followed by a 5.5 km uphill run to Selong Selo Resort, done solo or as a duo, plus an 8 km run-only category. Registration for this year has closed, and proceeds support the Selo Footprints charity projects.

November 6 to 8, Mandalika Racing Series, round 5. It’s the final round of this year’s five-round series at the Mandalika circuit, and it’s the next big race weekend after MotoGP. The one that moved: Mandalika International Festival

December 10 to 13, Mandalika International Festival. The fifth edition was originally planned for October 22 to 25. Radar Lombok reported on September 12 that it was rescheduled after several overseas speakers and envoys, from Australia, Italy and Malaysia, canceled in-person attendance because of natural disaster risk. Organizers said those speakers will take part online instead. Some event lists still show the old October dates, so if you see them, that’s out of date.

Events we couldn’t pin down

Parade Budaya Lombok–Sumbawa. The NTB provincial calendar lists it for December 17 to 27, while another list gives only December 17. Treat the exact dates as unconfirmed.

Festival Senggigi. It’s listed for November in West Lombok with no dates. West Lombok has since rebranded the event as the Senggigi Sunset Show, and no schedule for future evenings was published in the reports we found. Our Senggigi Sunset Show article has what we know so far.

Festival Perang Topat, Lingsar. This traditional ritual is listed for December, with one list saying December 27 and another calendar placing it in November. We wouldn’t rely on either date until the local authorities confirm it.

Mandalika Last Sunday Run. Listed for December in Mandalika with no confirmed date.

A quick note on what has already passed. MotoGP ran from October 9 to 11. The provincial list also shows an ASITA travel mart, a sustainable tourism familiarization trip and a tourism exhibition on October 10, but we found no coverage of them, so we can’t say how they went.

How to use this calendar

Our rule of thumb is simple. For anything with a specific date and a named organizer, confirm one to two weeks before you go. For anything listed by month only, don’t book non-refundable flights or rooms around it.
